The greatest interest is being centered in the forthcoming summer meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club, to be held at Alexandra Park, Epsom, on December 28, 30 and 31, and owners and trainers should make a special note that nominations for all events are due with the secretary, Mr. C. F. Mark, Durham Street, Auckland, on Friday next (December 3), at 5 p.m., when final payments for the Great Northern Trotting Derby, 1920, and first acceptances for the Great Northern Trotting Derby, 1921-22, must be lodged. After the Feilding meeting B. Deeley will take Gloaming to Ellerslie for his engagements at the A.R.C. summer fixture, while R. J. Mason returns to Riccarton to get Vespucci, who is engaged in the Great Northern Derby and other events to be decided at Ellerslie during the holiday racing carnival.

Entries for all events to be decided at the Westland R.C.’s summer meeting at Hokitika on December 27 and 28 are due with the secretary, Mr. S. J. Evans, P.O. Box 64 Hokitika, on Friday next (December 3), at 9 p.m. The sum of £lBOO is being distributed in stakes at the meeting, and a particularly good response can be confidently anticipated. ,
