THE AMATEUR CHAMPION HURDLER OF THE WORLD, WHO WILL PROBABLY BE SEEN IN ACTION IN NEW ZEALAND EARLY IN THE NEW YEAR. EARL- THOMPSON (Canada), the Olympic champion, who recently won the 120yds. Hurdle Handicap at Queen’s Club, London, in 14 4-5sec., and a week later registered 15sec. at Stamford Bridge in a similar handicap. Negotiations are at present proceeding with a view to bringing EARL THOMPSON to New Zealand.
