TAUMARUNUI RACING CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. Among the country racing fixtures set down for decision before the end. of the present year is the Taumarunui R.C.’s annual gathering, to be held on Wednesday, Deceriiber 15. The principal event is the Taumarunui .Cup Handicap, of/ 25050v5., 114 miles, and the leading sprint - the Flying Handicap, of 120sovs., six furlongs. Other events are the Hack Hurdle Race Handicap, of llOsovs., miles; Taringamotu Hack Handicap, of 85sovs„ six furlongs; OwhangoHack Handicap, of 90soys., seven furlongs ; Matapuna Hack Handicap, of 85sovs., five furlongs; Matiere Hack Handicap, of 85sovs, six furlongs ; and the Novice Plate, of 75sovs., six furlongs. Nominations for all events are due with the secretary, Mr. Sam Sarah, P.O. Box 14, Taumarunui, or with Messrs. H. H. Hayr and Co., Auckland, on or before Friday, November 19, by 5 p.m.
