No competitoi' will be allowed to start unless colours, dress, and gear' are in good order and condition. Rule 136. —Every owner shall register his racing colours and shall not race a horse in colours other than his registered colours, except by permission of the Stewards, which permission shall be granted only under special circumstances, and upon payment of the sum of 10s. for each time a horse belonging to such owner starts in colours otheithan his registered colours. No horse will. be allowed to compete in hopples in races for trotters only, or in races for unhoppled horses. Rule 196.—Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavouring to enter a horse for any race, and every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action of the Conference, Appeal Judges, Association, Club, Racing Club, or Body, Committee, Stewards, Officials, Agents, or Servants in respect of any such person or horse, or any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided in Part XXX. of these Rules. A copy of this rule shall be printed in all programmes and printed and conspicuously placed at the entrance to every course.
