MANAWATU SHOW.
Our readers are reminded that the thirty-fifth of the metropolitan shows -takes place at Palmerston North on November 3, 4 and 5, and bids fair., to outrival its many successful predecessors. Already the entries in -all classes are very numerous,, and the , l thrifty housewife, the diligent seam-, stress, the skilful school child, the farmer and the manufacturer will all have a big field to compete in. / There will be side-shows galore to gladden the juvenile heart —the . jugglers, and strong man from Borneo or some other place, merry-go-round and . hoop-las will ail be well to the fore. The sporting community are well catered for. in. the numerous ring events, and this year should bring forth some very good jumping events. The Manawatu Kennel. Club’s exhibition is held on the r second and third days of the show, and bids fair to be an excellent display of the canine world. - Any further information may be obtained from the secretary, W. T.
