MAIDEN STEEPLECHASE HANDICAP of 275sovs; second horse to receive 50sovs, and third horse 25sovs out of the stake. For all horses that have not won a steeplechase of the value of 150sovs, or steeplechases of the collective value of 400sovs at time of nomination. Winner of any steeplechase after the declaraion of weights to carry 101 b. penalty. Entrance lsov, and acceptance 2sovs each. About two miles JERVOIS HANDICAP of 275sovs; second horse to receive 50sovs, and third horse 25sovs out of the stake. For three-year-olds and upwards that have not won a flat race of the value of 150sovs, or flat races of the collective value of 400sovs at time of nomination. Winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry 71b. penalty. Minimum weight 8.0. Entrance lsov, and acceptance 2sovs each. Seven furlongs. MAIDEN HURDLE RACE HANDICAP of 275sovs; second horse to receive 50sovs, and third horse 25sovs out of the stake. No horse will be eligible which has won a race of any description of the value of more than 50sovs prior to the time of starting (Hunters’ races excepted). Owners must hand to the Secretary a certificate of qualification of their horses at time of nomination. Over eight flights of brush hurdles. Minimum weight 10.0.
