MR. HUBERT CARTER.

Auckland’s music lovers have had many occasions of hearing Mr. Hubert Carter at various local concerts, this young lyrical and dramatical tenor being a sufficient dr&w in himself to ensure a large audience. Urged by those able to judge vocal qualifications, Mr. Carter intends leaving at the end of the year to study abroad and perfect, himself in his art. With this aim in view, he is giving a recital at the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Saturday, March 27, when a genuine treat is assured. Mr. Carter has been studying the last two years with Mr. Leo Whittaker, to whom he gives the credit of bringing out the possibilities of his voice.
