Mr. E. J. Watt, who is reducing his team of horses in work at Randwick, sent up several of his string for sale in Sydney recently. Amongst the lots offered was Longlands-bred Bunting, the Otatara-bred gelding Churn (Demosthenes —Lady Delaval), whom he gave 500 guineas for as a yearling; Orient Maid, a half sister by Sands of the Orient to Orlay (dam of Galore and Bell Noir) ; and Ides, a bay filly by Hymettus —Idee, by Birkenhead — Ideal, bred by the late Hon. J. D. Osmond at Karamu.
