LADIES’ GOLF.

Auckland. The silver medal, provided by the Ladies’ Golf Union for competition by members of the Auckland Ladies’ Golf Club, has been won by Mrs. E. A. Dargaville, with a total score of 338, Miss Alison being second with 349, and Miss M. Payton third with 356. The bronze medal was won by Miss G. Buddle, with a total score of 322. These medals are won by the players making the four lowest net scores for the season. The medal presented by Miss S. Henderson for the C grade player who reduced her handicap most during the season was won by Mrs. Eliot Davis. Maungakiekie. The Maungakiekie Ladies’ Golf Club has concluded its season. The last medal handicap was won by Mrs.

Horton, gross score 99, handicap 23, net score 76. The next best scores were: Mrs. Stewart, 100 —20 —80; Miss Crowther, 96 —16 —80. The finals of a special handicap match for seniors and juniors were won by Mrs. Trice and Miss Grove TAQ'npnti vnlv c The Ladies’ Golf Union’s silver medal was won by Mrs. Rodger with a score of 324, while the bronze medal was won by Miss Abbott with a score of 320. The following officers have been elected for the ensuing year: —Captain, Mrs. Rodger; hon. secretary, Miss Burgess; committee, Mesdames Ridings, Trice, Saxton, Misses Crowther and Bayly.

Napier. At the annual meeting of the Napier Ladies’ Golf Club, presided over by Mrs. G. Kelly, the following officers were elected for the 1920 season: President, Mrs. G. S. V. Wen-

At the annual general meeting of the Timaru Ladies’ Golf Club, members took the opportunity of recording their pride in the achievements of their champion player, Miss N. E. Wright, in winnin’g the New Zealand ladies’ golf championship, recently played in Auckland, and also in winning a number of other events. Officers for the ensuing season were elected as follows: President, Mrs. Foden; vice-presidents, Mesdames Cotterill and Bowe; captain, Miss N. E. Wright; hon. secretary, Mrs. L. E. Finch; hon. treasurer, Mrs. Stronach; handicap manager, Miss H. M. Cotterill; committee, Mesdames Huddleston, McCaskill. W. D. Revel and Miss L. Cartwright. The following is the prize list for the past season: —Senior championship: Miss N. E. Wright; runner-up, Mrs. E. C. Kerr. Junior championship: Miss M. A. Hay; runner-up, Miss H. M. Cotterill.
