HAWKE’S BAY JOCKEY CLUB.
FUTURE EVENTS. On Friday evening next (June 13), up till S o’clock, Mr. H. S. Moss, secretary' of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club, will take nominations for three important classic events, the Hastings Stakes, 1919, Hawke’s Bay Stakes, 1920, and Hawke’s Bay Guineas, 1920. The Hastings Stakes, of 35050v5., four furlongs, which will be run at the spring meeting, 1919, is for two-year olds (yearlings August 1, 1918). The Hawke’s Bay Stakes, of 700sovs., 6% furlongs, is to be run at the autumn meeting, 1920, and is a weight-for-age event open to horses of all ages. The Hawke’s Bay Guineas, of 500sovs.. one mile, will come up for decision at the spring meeting, 1920, and is for three-year-olds (yearlings August 1, 1918).
