In pursuance of the Legislature Act, 1908, and its Amendments, I John Patterson, Returning Officer for the Franklin Electoral District, do hereby give notice that on the 10th day of April, 1919, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., a Special Licensing Poll under the Licensing Amendment Act, 1918, will be taken on the following proposals: — 1. That Licenses for the Sale of Intoxicating Liquor shall Continue to be granted subject to the provisions of the Licensing Act, 1908. 2. That National Prohibition, with compensation, shall come into force throughout New Zealand. The following are the POLLINGPLACES at which the Poll will be taken: — 1.
