ENTRIES for the Great Northern Derby 1920-21, close on FRIDAY, MARCH 21, at 5 p.m. ACCEPTANCES. ACCEPTANCES close on FRIDAY, MARCH 28, at 5 p.m. HANDICAPS. HANDICAPS to appear on MARCH 25. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No nomination will be accepted unless accompanied by fees. No competitor will be allowed to start unless all fees are paid. No competitor will be allowed to start Tinless colours, dress and gear are in good order and condition. Every ownet must have colours registered with the Association prior to nomination. No horse will be allowed to compete in hopples in races for trotters only. New Zealand Rules of Trotting.—By the entry of or endeavouring to enter a horse, every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed to accept al) the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action of the club or other body holding a sports meeting, of any official of the club or such other body in respect of such horses, or of any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in the Rules. The Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry and to exclude any persons from the ground without giving any explanation. Before any horse can be entered for handicap races the Provident Fund fee (£1) must be paid to the Secretary of the New Zealand Trotting Association, under a severe penalty or disqualification, v : de Rules of Trotting. All Entries and Acceptances to be addressed to the Secretary, Durham Street. Auckland. Higgins’ Patent Starting Barrier installed on course and will be used at the meeting. C. F. MARK, Secretary.
