All Entries must be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Box 13, Foxton, with the name and age at the time of entry, name of owner, pedigree, and the registered colours of the owner. Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing by next mail. All colours must be registered, or a fine of Isov will be imposed for every All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. The Committee reserve the right to alter the' date or time for the declaration of nominations, weights or acceptances as they may think fit. When nominating, the name and address of the trainer must be given; also the name or assumed name of the owner, with his address. PENALTIES. Flat Races. —The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b. (excepting the winner of any hack race shall carry a penalty of 71b, and of any additional hack race a further penalty of 51b. in any open race). Horses handicapped at 8.10 or over to carry half of the above penalties. The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the Hurdle Race, and of any additional hurdle race a further penalty of 71b, or, if the handicapper deems it fit, he may increase the penalties.
