ROTORUA JOCKEY CLUB.

The committee of . the Rotorua Jockey Club received a letter from the Racing Conference notifying that the Waipa Club had made application for February 22 as the date of their postponed meeting. The committee decided that this date was too close to the Rotorua and Hamilton fixtures, but that owing to the circumstances connected with the postponement, the club would offer no objection. The following officers in connection with the annual race meeting were elected: —Clerk of scales, Mr. G. Hunt; clerk of course, Mr. C. Rawson; totalisator steward, _ Mr. T. S. Wyllie; paddock steward, Mr. A. Worrall; stewards, Messrs. C. R. Tapper, J. Burch, J. Richards, W. J. Scott, E. La Trobe Hill, F. Goodson, F. O’Connell, E. Fowkes, A. Warbrick, C. Tattersail, and N. Keane.
