During the week plenty of horses have been doing useful tasks at headquarters, and most of them are pretty well forward. Loyal Arch ' and Penniless were schooled over hurdles on Saturday, the mare going in improved style. Blue Cross and Comedy Prince were sent five furlongs soundly on the grass. Miss Leslie and Lady Glen ran a useful circuit on the grass. The Channel and Ma Copper are working, but are in the rough. Sir John jumped some of the schooling fences well, and is very fresh.
