The Grand Charity Fair, which took place in the grounds of the Royal Hospital, Dublin, was opened by the Lord Lieutenant, Field Marshal Lord French, and proved a great success. The carnival was held with the object of swelling the funds of the Red Cross, Irish prisoners of war and other war time organisations.
