The picturesque French sailor costumes worn in “Les Cloches de Corneville” were loaned by Mrs. Tom Pollard, of Greymouth. The chorus members are supplying their own dresses, and all members of the orchestra are giving their services.

Mr. Rob Thomas, proprietor of the English Pierrots, has come over from Australia for the New Zealand tour. It is some years since the brothers, Will and Rob, landed in'Australia and set the standard for Pierrot entertainments. At its inception Messrs. Thomas were a show in themselves, and they had a repertoire of over 300 pieces covering the whole gamut of entertainment. Gradually the bigger organisation was evolved, and no musical costume show stands on a higher plane with the public than that built up by the genius of the Thomas brothers. “We aim at a wellbalanced, good all-round show,” says Mr. Thomas.

Mr. Frank Levy has been booming things along for Allen Doone’s return, and shamrocks have been given away broadcast.
