At the present time J. C. Williamson, Ltd., have two productions running which have achieved unusually lengthy runs. These are “The Bing Boys and the “Dick Whittington” pantomime. The first-mentioned has passed its eleventh week in Sydney, while in Melbourne the big pantomime concluded a phenomenally successful run of 11 weeks at Her Majesty’s Theatre, and had to be transferred to Adelaide, while still going strong, owing to the arrival from New Zealand of the New English Musical Comedy Company, which had been scheduled long ago to open with “You’re in Love.”
