Novel method of expediting the sale of National War Bonds in London. A tank drawn up in Trafalgar Square, where it is seen doing business in war bonds. The presence of this remarkable fighting machine, fresh from its exploits in Flanders, created the greatest curiosity among the large crowd by which it was constantly surrounded, and gave a decided fillip to the sale of war bonds. Lieutenant MacArthur, R.F.A., a wounded officer, was the first member of the general public to apply for a war bond after tank 130 had been officially opened for business in Trafalgar Square.
