Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing by the next mail. All colours must be registered, or a fine of lsov will be imposed for every start. All races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date "6r time for the declaration of nominations, weights or acceptances as they may think fit. When nominating, the name and address of the trainer must be given; also the name or assumed name of the owner with his address. No horse will be weighed out for any race whose entry fees are unpaid. The Club have 30 loose-boxes for use of patrons. Nightwatchman in attendance. PENALTIES. Flat Races. —The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b,. and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b (excepting that the winner of any hack race shall carry a penalty of 71b, and of any additicmal hack race a further penalty of 51b in any open race). Horses handicapped at 8.10 or over to carry half of the above penalties. Hurdle Races. —The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the Hurdle Race, and of any additional hurdle race a further penalty of 71b, or, if the handicapper deems it fit, he may increase the penalties.
