TE KUITI RACING CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Te Kuiti Racing Club will take place at the club’s course, Te Kuiti, on Saturday, February 9, and a perusal of their programme, which appears elsewhere in this issue, reveals the fact that an attractive list of events has been drawn up by the officials, no less than £1025 being given away in stakes. The Te Kuiti Cup Handicap, of BOOsovs (one mile and a-quarter), is. an event that will assuredly receive wide attention from owners and trainers, while the splendid inducements held out by the club in connection with the other events, all of which, with the exception of the Maiden Handicap (of 75sovs), are worth lOOsovs and over, 150sovs being the value of the Stewards’ Handicap (six furlongs). Nominations for all events close with the secretary, Mr. J. H. Trinnear, Te Kuiti, or with Messrs. Blomfield and Co., Auckland, on Friday, January 18, at 9 p.m.
