CHRISTCHURCH YEARLING SALES.

GOOD PRICES REALISED. An event of special importance to visitors to Christchurch during Cup week was the annual yearling sale conducted by Messrs. Pyne and Co on Ihutsday morning last at Messrs. W. Hayward and Co.’s Chester Street stables. Prominent sportsmen from all parts of the Dominion were present the large crowd affording evidence of the intense interest taken in the sale of thoroughbreds, many of which realised good prices.
