MANAWATU RACING CLUB.

AUTUMN MEETING. The Manawatu Racing Club will hold their autumn meeting at Awapuni on Wednesday and Thursday next, when a large crowd may be expected to attend this popular gathering, the entire profits of which are to be devoted to the patriotic funds. A special train service is being run in connection with the gathering, so that patrons need have no uneasiness regarding the transit arrangements to and from Palmerston North from outlying districts. Holiday excursion tickets, available for return until April 28, will be issued to Palmerston North on April 25 and 26 from Wanganui, Taihape, Foxton, Wellington (Thorndon), Waipukurau, Masterton and intermediate stations. On April 25 and 26 day return tickets (including adnr'ssion to course). Palmerston North to Racecourse will be obtainable at the principal stations and from guards on trains.
