OTAHUHU TROTTING CLUB

SUMMER MEETING. The Otahuhu Trotting Club will open their summer meeting at Alexandra Park on Saturday, and will bring the fixture to a conclusion on the following Wednesday. There is every prospect of some excellent trotting being witnessed at the gathering, the acceptances being particularly good, while the presence of a number of wellknown southern competitors will lend additional interest to the gathering. The crack performers Steel Bell and Wallace Wood, both of whom have Auckland Trotting Cup victories to their credit, have been accepted for in the Dominion Handicap, in which Strategy and Waverley are both engaged, so that there is every reason to anticipate a sterling race.
