The meeting was brought to a close on Saturday in showery weather, but, nevertheless, the attendance was well up to apticipations. The totalisator handled £22,472 10s M as against £24,049 10s. last year making a total for the meeting of £56,530, as compared with £60,688 10s. for the 1916 autumn meet-
