FRIDAY, MARCH 9. (Night of First Day’s Races.) WEIGHTS for all the Second Day’s Events will be declared at 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES for all Second Day’s Events close at 9 p.m. HACK DEFINITION. No horse shall be eligible to start in a “Hack” Race which has won a race of the value of 150sovs or races of the collective value of 400sovs at time of nomination. The amount won by any horse in flat races, hurdle races, or steeplechases respectively shall not render such horse ineligible except in the special class of race in which it has won such amount. ACCOMMODATION. The Club having secured the control of 24 loose-boxes, together with a fourroomed cottage for sleeping accommodation for visitors, trainers are requested to make early application for same, which must be accompanied by the following fees: —Loose-boxes £l, sleeping accommodation 10s. The above charges will cover one week or fraction thereof. Both the loose-boxes and cottage are new and situated close to the course and hotel, where meals can be procured. PENALTIES. Flat Races —The winner of any flat rac<" after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b. Horses handicapped at 8.10 oi' over to carry only half the above penalties.
