ZEALAND RAILWAYS. HAWKE’S BAY RACES AT HASTINGS RACECOURSE, sth AND 6th MAY, 1916. HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS to Hastings and Napier, available for return until 11th May, 1916, will be obtainable as under: — From Woodville, Otane and intermediate stations on sth and 6th May. NOTE. —On 6th May these tickets will be obtainable only by the trains leaving Woodville at 8.6 a.m. and Waipukurau at 7.18 and 11.30 a.m. These tickets will be available for break of journey only at Hastings Racecourse or Hastings. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS ON sth AND 6th MAY, 1916. All trains except the Mail trains will, if required, stop at Hastings Racecourse for passengers. Trains for Hastings Racecourse will leave Napier at 10.50, 11.20 a.m., and 1.20 p.m., and return trains will leave Racecourse at 5.0 and 5.20 p.m. BY ORDER. ■yEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. RACES AT HAWERA, 10th AND 11th MAY, 1916. ~ On 10th and 11th May a passenger train, stopping where required, will leave Wanganui at 6.45 a.m., Patea 9.30 a.m., Hawera 10.45 a.m., arriving Racecourse 10.50 a.m. Return train leaves Racecourse 4.30 p.m., Hawera 4.40 p.m. for Wanganui. The usual 4.5 p.m. train, Hawera to New Plymouth, will NOT run. A special train, stopping where required, will leave Hawera 4.20 p.m., Racecourse 4.30 p.m. for New Plymouth, Waitara and intermediate stations. Holiday Excursion Tickets, available for return until 13th May, will be issued to Hawera Racecourse from New Plymouth, Waitara, Wanganui, and intermediate stations on 10th May and by morning trains on lltli May. These Excursion Tickets will not be available by Mail trains. BY ORDER. yEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. WAIKATO TROTTING CLUB’S MEETING AT CLAUDE LANDS, SATURDAY, 6th MAY, 1916. Usual Week-end Excursion Tickets will be issued to Claudelands or Hamilton on Saturday, 6th May, available for return up to Monday, Bth May. A train will leave Auckland for Claudelands at 7.0 a.m. Return train will leave Claudelands for Auckland at 5.20 p.m., connecting at Frankton with the Te Kuiti train, which will leave Frankton at 5.40 p.m. The usual 3.40 p.m. Paeroa-Frann-ton train will leave Frankton at 4.30 p.m., Claudelands 5.10 p.m. The usual 7.30 p.m. train Paeroa to Thames will leave Paeroa at 8.0 p.m. after arrival of 4.3 C p.m. train from Frankton. The usual 3.55 p.m. train Frankton to Cambridge will leave Frankton at 5.15 p.m., Claudelands 5.35 p.m. The usual 6.0 p.m. CambridgeFrankton train will leave Cambridge at 7.0 p.m. The Thames-Auckland and the Ro-torua-Auckland express trains will stop at Claudelands to allow passengers to alight.
