PENALTIES ON WINNERS.

Eligible has incurred a penalty for the Twenty-fourth Challenge Stakes at the C.J.C. autumn meeting, by reason of his dual wins at Trentham. He has also incurred a. 101 b. penalty for the A.R.C. Easter Handicap. He is engaged at the Manawatu meeting, but a win there would not further increase his poundage. Oxenhope has incurred a penalty of 141 b. in both the C.J.C. Great Easter and Great Autumn Handicaps, by reason of his victory in the Thompson Handicap last Thursday. Adjutant has an adcitional 71b. in the Great Autumn Handicap for winning the Autumn Handicap at Trentham on Saturday, and his weight for the Manawatu Autumn Handicap is now 7.8. In that race Multiply’s weight is now 8.5. Halina has 51b. penalty in the C.J.C. Easter Handicap for her win at Trentham, and her increased weight for the Telegraph Handicap at the Manawatu meeting is 101 b., or 7.8. Heeltap’s weight in the Woodhey Handicap at the Manawatu meeting is now 8.8.
