UP-TO-DATE FISH EMPORIUM. The supply of fish to a city is of vital importance, and in this connection Auckland is very lucky to possess such a well-managed place as the Auckland Fish Mart, which, under the managership of Mr. T. Clegg, has opened a 'first-class, up-to-date fish emporium, where a variety of the denizens of the deep are kept in perfect hygiene order. All the fish in season are to be procured at this new and commodious shop. The firm possess their own fishing fleet. Oysters, both on the plate and in the bottle, are for sale, and every maritime delicacy is obtainable at the, Auckland Fish Mart, opposite the Post Office.

Mr. Harry Dyer has purchased the freehold of the Panmure Hotel, Panmure, and extends a hearty welcome to his many friends when visiting that exhilarating suburb. The building is being renovated throughout, and will be replete with every comfort to recommend it to public favour. Under Mr. Dyer’s able direction the hotel should be a popular place of call.

In connection with the Egmont Hunt steeplechase meeting at Waverley racecourse on Thursday, August 26, holiday excursion tickets will be issued from Hawera, Wanganui and intermediate stations.
