AUTUMN MEETING. LADOGA WINS THOMPSON HANDICAP. The Wellington Racing Club were favoured with fine though dull weather for the opening day of their autumn gathering on Wednesday, and the attendance was large. The sum of £28,589 was put through the machine, against £27,782 10s. for the corresponding day last year.
