“DOROTHY O’ THE HALL.”

There are many exciting incidents in “Dorothy O’ the Hall,” the historical costume play in which Miss Nellie Stewart will appear on Monday

for three nights. The spectacular and realistic effects introduced into the play are vividly presented. How Dorothy sayes the life of the Queen by changing clothes with her, and how she actually fights a duel with her own cousin, Sir Malcolm, and she eventually escapes in boys’ clothes, is told in a series of scenes that hold the audience breathless. Dorothy Vernon is a part' after Miss Stewart’s own heart. Coquettish, gay and alluring, she is yet the stiong and dominating figure qf a story of absorbing interest. The play is rich in comedy, n which Miss Stewart is said to remind one of her delightfully humorous touches in “Sweet Nell.”
