PETER DAWSON.
In response to the earnest request of the various musical centres, Mr. Peter Dawson, the world famous baritone, has decided to make a thorough tour of New Zealand under the direction of J. and N. Tait. Every town with a hall accommodation large enough to offer sufficient inducement will be visited by the renowned singer and his accomplished colleagues. Among the singers whose names have resounded loudly throughout the world of music Peter Dawson steps into the foremost rank. His London and provincial successes have extended over a period of eight years, during which time he has accomplished that which few others have done. His name is now a household word. He has fought his way on the ladder of fame in London. His gramaphone records have made h’m famous throughout the English sneaking world. It is but a few years since he first sang before and incidentally captivated a London audience, and to-day he is a principal figure at the Royal Albert Hall Sundav afternoon concerts, the Royal Onera Covent Garden, the Channell ballad concerts, the Royal Hall promenade concerts, etc. Mr. Dawson and his brilliant company will open their Auckland season on January 23 in the Town Hall.
