LATE BOXING NOTES.
The Wanganui Amateur Boxing Association’s district championship tourney will be held in the Opera House on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 30th June and Ist July, when some interesting bouts should be witnessed.
From all appearances the N.Z. championship tourney, to be held in the Opera House here on the 22nd and 23rd July (writes our Wanganui correspondent), will be the biggest thing of its kind ever held in the Dominion' Most of the centres have intimated that they will be sending strong teams, and there should be some splendid contests before the championships are decided. Entries for this tourney close on 15th July.
