QUEEN’S FERRY HOTEL.
This well-known and popular rendezvous for people of all shades of opinion has been taken over by Mr. A. Beggs, who for many years was the head of the well-known grocery business bearing that name in Wellington; in fact, the name is a household word in the Empire City. With his business acumen and popularity with the sporting public Mr. Beggs is assured of a prosperous career during his sojourn in Auckland. Nothing but the best brands of liquors will find a space on his shelves, and the fact that only Speight’s beer will be found on tap should be a sufficient guarantee that visitors to the Queen’s Ferry Hotel will be well catered for. We wish Mr. Beggs every success in his new undertaking.
