NEW ZEALAND CRICKET TEAM.
(By Telegraph—Dunedin Correspondent) The New Zealnd team to meet Australia in the first test match, to be played at Dunedin on March 6th, 7th and Bth, will take some picking. One does not envy selector Dan Reece his task. Canterbury and Auckland will no doubt have the preponderance of representation, these provinces being the strongest in New. Zealand at the present time. Wellington is expected to get in Southall and Robinson after their showing against the Australians, and Otago may reasonably expect to be represented by Tuckwell, the exVictorian and New Zealand cricketer, and Condliffe, the wicketkeeper, who should have been included in the New Zealand team for Australia. It transpires now that the selection committee when selecting the wicketkeepers for the Australian tour were of opinion that Condliffe was in the veteran stage, whereas he is only 25 years of age and quite a youth in cricket.
