SYDNEY YEARLING SALES.

At the Sydney sales on April 20, the Multiform—lrish Corner colt reai.ised SO guineas, the Alalster— Graceton colt 600 guineas, and a Medallion —Endanger filly 53 0 guineas. On account of Mr J. B. Reid, of Oamaru, a St. Ambrose —Conronne colt realised 240 guineas. A Malster—Field Rose colt brought 15 0 0 guineas. At the yearling sales, on April 21, some high prices were realised. The following were the leading lots: — Alalster—Lady Grafton colt, 2100 guineas, the buyer being Air John Brownj Newcastle; Bobadil—Phyllis colt, 1550 guineas; Alalster— -Grafton Lass ' colt, 700 guineas; Malster— Gaillardia colt, 625 guineas; Malster—Aurous colt; 625 guineas; Mal-ster-—Eta Weenie illly, 70 0 guineas; Malster —Diffidence colt, 500 guineas; Bobadil—Ariadne colt, 525 guineas; Bobadil—-Circle filly, 800 guineas; Graftoil—-Comedy colt, ,500. guineas; Air E. J. Watt, of Hawke’s Bay, se cured the Alalster—Red Flag colt at 375 guineas. The following additional lots were disposed of on the concluding day of the New South Wales sales of yearlings : —Colt by Royal Artillery—Gold Dust, 500 guineas; filly by Alalster— Symmetry, 75 0 guineas; filly by Alalster —Lady Florence, 850 guineas; filly by Orzil —Kirry, 450 guineas. Mr E. J. Watt, of Hawke’s Bay, secured a filly by Royal. Artillery— Ovalene for 12 5 guineas, and Air J. B. Reid, of Canterbury, bought a filly by Grafton—Pilgrim for 130 guineas. During the three days over which the recent sales extended 521 yearlings were disposed of for a total of 79,5 5 9 guineas.The stallion Bright Steel was passed in at 10 2 5 guineas. On account of Price and Nettlefold, of New Zealand, Pink-’Un was sold at 800 guineas, and on account of Mr G. P. Donnelly, of New Zealand, the mare Lady Cecile was sold at 300 guineas and Kilmorey at 13 5 guineas. Air G. Al. Currie, of Wanganui, paid 375 guineas for the mare Roscommon.

On account of Air Donnelly, of New Zealand, the following mares were disposed of: —Brizo, 140 guineas; Chrysophase, 150 guineas; Certon, 120 guineas. On account of the Hon. J. D. Ormond, of Napier: A Birkenhead—Maluri mare, 60 guineas. The brood mare Irish Corner brought 425 guineas Fungus 450 guineas, and Aurora s'oo guineas The following racehorses were sold: — Bobadea brought 460 guineas, Danaus 625 guineas; Diabolo 500 guineas, and Philio 600 guineas.
