HOW IT STRUCK HER.
In the street car little Bessie was gazing open-mouthed at a real tough citizen who was sporting a green blind over one eye.
“Don’t 'stare at that poor man,” whispered her mother. “All right, ma,” said Bessie obediently; “but it’s so funny to see a person with only one naked eye!”
