BEATING THEM DOWN!
A little boy was sent to sell some ■eggs—his father said, “do not take less than 9d. per dozen, bring them home if offered less.” The boy brought his father the money and said, “I will make a good business man, dad. They offered me a shilling, but I beat them down to 9d!”
