CRICKET.

The representative cricket matches being over, the Auckland Cricket Association’s district championships were resumed on Saturday in fine weather, and some fairly good scoring was made during the afternoon, Eden especially putting up a creditable batting performance. The Edenites were pitted against Ponsonby, and they managed to knock up 242 runs, and have yet another wicket to fall. Grafton played Parnell at the Domain, and were all dismissed for 157 runs, while the Parnellites opened their first innings moderately.
