TELEGRAPH MESSENGERS’ PICNIC.

The Auckland telegraph messengers’ annual picnic was held on Christmas Day at Lake Takapuna. About 300 officers and friends availed themselves of the outing, and spent a very enjoyable time, arriving back in town at eight p.m. The following sports programme was decided:—Swimming championship (seniors): C.
