AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
NOMINATION OF OFFICERS. The following nominations were received on - Saturday for the Executive of the Auckland Racing Club:—President, the Hon. E. Mitchelson; vicepresident, Mr. H. T. Gorrie; committee, Messrs. Walter Davies, Richard W. Duder, N. Alfred Nathan, E. A. Price, George Dunnet, D. R. Ross, W. C. Somers, and Angus W. Gordon. The Hon. E. Mitchelson and Mr. H. T. Gorrie being the only nominations received for the offices of president and vice-president, both gentlemen were duly elected to their respective positions. As there are only five vacancies on the committee and eight nominations have been received, an election will be held. The result of the ballot will be declared at the annual meeting of the Club on Aus: 2nd.
