The Paris summer meeting was held on Sunday at Longchamps. The following’ was the result of the principal event:—

THE GRAND PRIX DE PARIS of 300,000 fr. (12,000sovs), with a sweepstake in addition. If the winner is foaled in France the breeder will receive 20,000 fr. (800sovs in addition); 250,000 fr. (10,000sovs) given by the City of Paris and 50,000 fr (2000sovs) by the five great railway companies, added to a sweepstake of IOOOfr. (40sovs) each. The owner of the second horse to receive 30,000 fr. (1200sovs), and the owner of the third horse 15,000 fr (600 sovs) out of the stake. For entire colts and fillies foaled in 1906, of every description and country. Weights: Colts, 58 kilos (about 9st 21b); fillies, 56% kilos (about Bst 131 b). About 3000 metres (about one mile and seven furlongs).
