TAKAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB’S WINTER MEETING.
The Winter Meeting of the Takapun Jockey Club will be held on May 22 and 24. and with prize-money amounting to £1775, distributed over the fourteen events, there is every inducement for horse owners to nominate freely. The events with the most prize-money attached are the Empire Handicap of 250 sovs., one mile and a-quarter, and the Britannia Handicap of 175 sovs., one mile. Nominations for all events close to-morrow (Friday) evening, at 9 p.m.
