THE TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB’S AUTUMN MEETING.
The Autumn Meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club will be commenced next Wednesday, and concluded on Thursday. Present indications point to it being one of the most successful in the h.'story of the club. The acceptances, as will be seen in another column, are numerous, and there seems every likelihood of good sport. Mr. C. O'Connor will do the starting, which means that it will be done well. Quite a number of Auckland sportsmen! intend going down for the meeting.
