ROTORUA RACING CLUB.
A meeting of the Rotorua Racing Club was held last week, when the following officers were elected:—President, Mr. C. A. Clarke; patron, Mr. Herries, M.P.; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. D. B. McDonald M.P.,-A. Munro, J. McMath, F. Goodson, and H. B. Hollick; secretary, Mr. A. E. Bryant; treasurer, Mr. J. W. Bayliss. Seventeen stewards were appointed to carry on the business of the club. The course has been ploughed and harrowed and sown down and is a vast improvement on the old track. At present the date of the meeting has not been decided upon, but it will take place as soon as the course is in proper condition to be raced upon.
