A.R.C. COMMITTEE.

At a meeting of the A.R.C. Committee, the Hon. E. Mitchelson referred sympathetically to the death of Mr. William Percival, who for a period extending to over '3O years had filled the position of secretary to the club, and the secretary was instructed to forward a letter of condolence to Mrs. Percival and family.

It was decided to hold the second day of the summer meeting on December 30, so as not to clash with the Thames Jockey Club’s meeting. The following transfers were passed:—Manawatu Stud Company to F. S. Easton, Cecile filly; J. Rountree to P. Turnbull, Kapakapa; W. A. Scott to C. Nicholson, Celerity (lease).
