WAIHI HACK RACING CLUB.

The annual meeting of tlife Waihi Hack Racing Club was held lats'week in Myers’ Hotel, Mr. G. Colebrook being in the chair. The Secretary (Mr. Harry Carter) reported that the last race meeting had been the most profitable in : the history of the club, the net profit being £62 Bs. 6d. The report, together with the balancesheet, which .showed a credit, balance of £55 16s. 7d., were adopted. Officials for the ensuing year, were elected as under: —Patron, Mr. W. H. Herries, M.P.; president, Mr. A. B. Buckland; vice-presidents, left to the Programme Committee; judge, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt; clerk of the course, Mr. J. H. Walsh; clerk of scales, Mr. R. .Toyce, assisted by Mr. W. Beattie; handicapper, 'Mr. F. W. Edwards (Mr. A. Lang to act in conjunction if locally framed) ; starter, Mr. D. Morrow; stewards, Messrs. J. H. Walsh, A. Lang, W. Cornes, H. Gordon, W. Earl, A. Ross, E. Furey, H. Sorenson, R. Joyce, J. Delaney, D. Morrow, G. Colebrook, W. Sims, W. Paul, R. Dundas, F. Robinson, E. Plummer, W. Wyatt, and C. Howes; secretary, Mr. H. Carter. The date of the next meeting was fixed for Saturday, November 14. Messrs. A. Ross, E. Furey, and H. Carter were elected a Programme Committee.
