The cricket season was brought to a close on Saturday. Grange defeated Albion by 144 runs, the former making 91 and 136, and the latter 41 and 42. In Albion’s second innings Davis took seven wickets for 14 runs, and Downes three for 23. Dunedin beat Carisbrook A by six wickets. The former compiled 108 and 57 for four wickets, while the latter were disposed of for 52 and 11. Grange thus wins the championship.
