The sum of £11,048 was put put through the totalisator, as against £12,406 for the first day of the last autumn meeting. Thirty-six bookmakers were present. The sum of £13,439 was put through the totalisator, as against £11,920 for the second day of the Autumn Meeting last year, the total for the meeting being £24,487, as against £24,326 last year. The Waihi Jockey Club’s annual rape meeting was held on Saturday. The weather was showery. The gathering was well conducted by the secretary (Mr M G. Power). Mr. J. J. Scanloh was the judge.
