“TOO HOT TO PLAY.”
Locally there is nothing doing in the world of billiards. “Come to have a game,” says A. “No, weather too hot. let’s have a tonic instead,” says B, and that just about expresses it. Still February is the last summer month, and with the advent of the cooler weather, the knights of the cue will be going in for strong practice. The amateur championship should be a great contest later on.
